Hozugawa Gorge / Hozu Gorge
Hozukyō is a scenic valley located in Kyoto Prefecture, stretching from Kameoka City to the Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, along the Hozu River (also known as the Katsura River). It is also referred to as the Hozu River Gorge. Renowned for its natural beauty, Hozukyō is famous for Hozugawa River Boat Rides downstream and the Sagano Scenic Railway. The area has been designated as the Hozukyō Natural Park of Kyoto Prefecture.
