Ōfuna Station (Ōfuna-eki) is located in Ōfuna 1-chome, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is served by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the Shōnan Monorail.
The station is situated near the border between Kamakura City and Yokohama City, with the northern side of the JR platforms and the Kasama Exit extending into Kasama 1-chome, Sakae Ward, Yokohama City. Although it is somewhat removed from the central urban areas of both cities, it functions as a key transportation hub. In particular, the area in front of the station has developed significantly, especially around the East Exit.
