Chiayi City Cultural Park is located in the heart of the city, near National Chiayi Girls’ Senior High School and the bustling Wenhua Road Night Market. It is an urban green space that combines leisure and recreation. The park was formerly the site of the Wenhua Market, which was demolished in 2006 and redeveloped into a friendlier public space for residents.
The park spans approximately 3.08 hectares and is bordered by Minzu Road, Xingzhong Street, Chuiyang Road, and Wenhua Road. With its convenient location, it serves as one of the city's key recreational spots. The park offers diverse facilities, especially the inclusive playground, which opened on October 12, 2008. Located near Chiayi Girls' High School, the playground was designed to meet the needs of diverse groups, with a focus on accessibility and parent-child interaction.
The inclusive playground features up to 12 play installations, including frog-fin slides, bird's nest swings, children's bikes, a sand table and pit area, foot-washing zone, barrier-free inclusive spinning disk, strong frog king, trampoline, frog-fin seesaw, large spinning disk, and small spinning cups.
