Narita International Airport

Narita International Airport (IATA code: NRT, ICAO code: RJAA), commonly known as Narita Airport and formerly named New Tokyo International Airport, is located in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the two major international gateways serving the Tokyo area, alongside Haneda Airport.
The airport covers an area of 1,111 hectares and has three passenger terminals. In terms of passenger traffic, Narita Airport ranks second in Japan; for cargo handling, it ranks first in the country and ninth in the world. According to Japan’s Airport Classification Act, Narita Airport is designated as a “Hub Airport.”
