Located in Bade District, Taoyuan City, the Northern Hakka Cultural Center was established to connect the Hakka historical context of the region, strengthen ethnic cultural identity, and promote the continuity and development of Hakka culture in contemporary society.

The core focus of the center’s exhibitions lies in Hakka poetry and mountain folk songs. Dedicated exhibition spaces highlight two iconic cultural figures: Du Pan Fangge, a renowned Hakka poet, and Lai Bi-xia, a preserver of Hakka mountain songs. Through their works and life stories, the depth and beauty of the Hakka language and arts are vividly presented, offering valuable cultural resources and role models for future generations.

Beyond its exhibitions, the center also serves as an important hub for education and cultural activities. It houses a music classroom, dance studio, multi-functional classroom, and a briefing room, allowing for diverse workshops and cultural lectures. It also includes a concert hall that can accommodate up to 200 people, making it ideal for performances and large-scale events.

The outdoor area features an open grass field, designed for markets, performances, and traditional folk events. This allows Hakka culture not only to be displayed indoors but also to be integrated into everyday life and the broader community.
