Utsubuki Corridor

Address 1032-19 Meijimachi, Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture, Japan

This multifunctional complex is located next to Kurayoshi’s famous White-Walled Storehouse District and stands along the character-filled Kurayoshi Ginza Shopping Street. Since opening on July 20, 2019, it has become a must-stop rest spot for travelers exploring the historic streets. Combining tourism, dining, and family-friendly facilities, the building invites visitors to slow down during their strolls and experience the everyday atmosphere of Kurayoshi at a relaxed pace.

On the first floor, visitors are welcomed by a bright and comfortable children’s play area and a souvenir shop, along with a café space offering pesticide-free coffee, specialty drinks, and house-made desserts. Whether for families with children or travelers looking for a short break, it provides a cozy place to unwind. The second floor is dedicated to dining, featuring the restaurant “Washoku Shiki no Hana Utsubuki Tennyo,” which specializes in Japanese cuisine and can accommodate group meals of up to 80 people. Operating on a reservation-only basis, it is especially well suited for tour groups or private gatherings.

One of the facility’s highlights is the observation deck, located about 15 meters above ground level. From here, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Kurayoshi, taking in the lush greenery of Mount Utsubuki alongside the historic townscape of red-tiled roofs. Whether appreciating the calm order of the streets during the day or the gentle evening light settling over the mountain town at dusk, this viewpoint offers an exceptional perspective from which to discover the beauty of Kurayoshi.
