Sandiaojiao Lighthouse
Sandiaojiao Lighthouse is located at Cape Sandiao in Gongliao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Address: No. 38, Magang Street, Fulian Village, Gongliao District, New Taipei City 22841. It is the easternmost lighthouse on Taiwan’s main island and serves as a critical navigation beacon along the Northeast Coast.
The lighthouse features a classic white cylindrical structure with a surrounding balcony on the top level. Its clean and prominent design stands out against the dramatic sea cliffs, offering stunning coastal views.
Next to the lighthouse is the Sandiaojiao Radar Station, operated by the Air Navigation and Weather Services of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, which supports both maritime and aviation safety, making it a vital node for sea and air transportation.
