Taipei City Mall

Taipei City Mall is located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, and is a key part of the Taipei Station underground street system. It connects Taipei Main Station, various MRT lines, and nearby commercial areas. Not only is it an important transportation hub, but it also serves as a multi-functional space that combines shopping, leisure, and entertainment. As one of the largest underground malls in Taiwan, it is well-loved by both local and international visitors.

The entire underground mall has 28 entrances and exits—14 on the north side and 14 on the south—each labeled with the letter "Y." The Y2 exit on the south side shares a staircase to the surface with the M1 exit of the MRT Taipei Station. On the east side, there is a direct passage connecting to Zhongshan Underground Mall without needing to return to the surface.

The mall features a wide variety of stores, ranging from trendy clothing, 3C (computer, communication, and consumer electronics) products, and cultural and creative goods to handmade crafts. For anime enthusiasts, it is a must-visit destination, housing many shops that specialize in anime merchandise, attracting fans eager to hunt for treasures or grab the latest items.

Every August, the Taipei City Mall hosts the “Yukata Festival,” with the venue decorated in rich Japanese style. Visitors can enjoy the fun of wearing yukata and take photos at various Japanese-themed setups, making it one of the most popular summer events.
