Taipei City Mall is located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, and is a key part of the Taipei Station underground street system. The entire underground mall has 28 entrances and exits—14 on the north side and 14 on the south—each labeled with the letter "Y." The Y2 exit on the south side shares a staircase to the surface with the M1 exit of the MRT Taipei Station. On the east side, there is a direct passage connecting to Zhongshan Underground Mall without needing to return to the surface.

Every August, the Taipei City Mall hosts the “Yukata Festival,” with the venue decorated in rich Japanese style. Visitors can enjoy the fun of wearing yukata and take photos at various Japanese-themed setups, making it one of the most popular summer events.
