Zhangzaiyuan Cultural Park

Located in Luodong Township, Yilan County, the “Zhangziyuan Cultural Park” has a rich historical background and a diverse development history. Its former roles included the “Camphor Tree Nursery,” the “Forestry Research Institute,” and the “Luodong Branch of the Taipei District Agricultural Research and Extension Station,” all of which were closely associated with forestry and agricultural research for many years.

In 2009, the park began a historical revitalization plan. Through renovation and adaptive reuse, it was officially transformed into the “Luodong Zhangziyuan Cultural Park” in October 2014. The park's original functions were redefined into a public space with both historical and cultural significance, making it an important site for showcasing local historical memory and cultural heritage.

With the promotion of regional revitalization policies, the park became the “Luodong Relocation and Revitalization Center of Yilan County” in May 2022, and was also given new roles such as the “Luodong Youth Entrepreneurship Base.”
