Located on the south side of Yilan Railway Station, the Jimmy Park was formerly an abandoned Taiwan Railways staff dormitory area. To preserve these historically valuable buildings, the entire area was later transformed by incorporating artistic elements into Taiwan's first "Jimmy-themed plaza." All the characters in the park come from Jimmy Liao’s picture books—not only the iconic man and woman from Turn Left, Turn Right, but also the boy and girl waiting at a bus stop from Starry Starry Night, as if keeping you company while waiting for a bus that may never arrive.
