Yuanshan Park, also known as Tank Park, is located in Yuanshan Township, Yilan County. It was completed and opened to the public in 1996, covering an area of approximately four hectares. The park is centered around the Martyrs' Shrine and was formerly the site of a Japanese Shinto shrine.
The park offers a variety of facilities, including a military tank display, fountain pool, arched bridge, activity plaza, circular amphitheater, plant zone, children's playground, and a trail that encircles the hill. The entire environment is lush with greenery and features beautiful landscapes. During summer, it is a popular spot for people to cool off and take walks, while on holidays, it serves as a favorite destination for locals to picnic, relax, and exercise in the morning. It is a multifunctional park that blends natural scenery with cultural elements.
