Sanxing Green Onion Cultural Center

Address: No. 41, Section 2, Zhongshan Road, Sanxing Township, Yilan County 266, Taiwan

Sanxing Township is located at the top of the Lanyang Plain in Yilan County, eastern Taiwan. With its favorable geographical location, fertile soil, and abundant water resources, the region has developed a thriving agricultural industry and boasts an abundance of local produce. Among these, the most renowned is the “Sanxing Scallion,” known both domestically and internationally for its tender texture and rich aroma. It has become one of the region's key economic crops, generating substantial income for local farmers each year.

To promote local agriculture and culture, the Sanxing Farmers’ Association revitalized a formerly unused granary and transformed it into the “Scallion Cultural Museum.” The museum features diverse exhibits, including agricultural knowledge displays, local specialty product sales, scallion-themed cuisine, and interactive scallion-picking experiences suitable for families. Visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the background and cultural significance of Sanxing scallions in an engaging and educational environment.
