Dongshan River EcoArk (Ecological Green Boat Park)

Eco Green Boat is an ecological park that blends nature and culture, leisure and education. Its design philosophy centers on embracing the region’s diverse ecosystems, creating a unique and sustainable environment that offers visitors a comprehensive experience.

The park's landscape design is diverse and rich. It features the “Forest Pulse” pedestrian bridge, which combines modern aesthetics with natural elements and connects the park’s main areas for easy exploration on foot. There are also canoe stations, traditional wooden boats, and duck boats available, allowing visitors to closely experience the aquatic ecosystem. Scenic spots like observation pavilions and landscape bridges provide beautiful panoramic views of the park.

To promote ecological education and nature observation, the park includes a butterfly trail and a rhinoceros beetle breeding area, attracting many insects to inhabit and reproduce. The “Floating Classroom” offers an outdoor learning space that brings educational activities closer to nature.

In terms of vegetation, Eco Green Boat features a diverse range of native and exotic tree species, such as green maple, Elaeocarpus, Barringtonia racemosa, Cyclobalanopsis glauca, and Lindera glauca, which not only provide ample shade but also support ecological balance. Notably, the park includes a farming experience zone where crops like rice, water bamboo, and eggplant are grown, demonstrating the harmony between agricultural culture and nature.
