Guangxing Farm

Guangxing Farm has transformed its old pigsties using traditional methods, giving them a unique style and starting its gradual transformation with a distinctive accommodation experience known as the "Duck Mother Shed & Pig Brother Den." In 2005, it successfully obtained an official license as a leisure farm, making "Guangxing" the only themed leisure farm in Taiwan that uses pigsties as the main environment and integrates the three core elements of traditional rural life in Yilan: living, production, and ecology.
Thanks to the natural spring water at the farm's location, which is filtered through sandy soil layers and remains crystal clear, the farm enjoys an excellent aquatic environment. In addition to raising Taiwanese tilapia, Guangxing also takes advantage of this natural resource to cultivate tender river clams and native Taiwanese black-shell shrimp. Visitors can not only explore attractions full of rustic charm, such as the Duck Mother Shed and Pig Brother Den, but also take part in hands-on experiences like earth oven cooking, feeding pigs and ducks, or even wading into the water to “dig for clams and wash your pants.” They can also create their own black-shell shrimp eco-bottles and fully enjoy the most authentic and entertaining aspects of rural life.
