Global CO (Carbon Monoxide) AQI Map

This is an interactive global carbon monoxide (CO) AQI map that shows the local CO concentration index in real time based on the user’s location. Users can also drag the map to explore CO conditions worldwide, understand regional differences in air quality, and use it as a reference for travel and health protection.

What is Carbon Monoxide (CO)

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless toxic gas, mainly produced by incomplete combustion, such as vehicle exhaust, gas appliances, and industrial emissions. Because CO binds to hemoglobin hundreds of times more strongly than oxygen, inhalation reduces the blood’s ability to transport oxygen, causing headaches, dizziness, nausea, and in severe cases, coma or death. Long-term exposure to low levels of CO may also affect cardiovascular and nervous system health, making CO monitoring crucial for public safety and health.
